User Profile

Q:  How do I register for a new account?

A:  After opening the app, you can access the user registration page by either:

  • selecting the “Set Up My Profile” link on the “Home” page, or
  • selecting the user icon image located in the upper left-hand corner of any page within the app.

You will be required to provide information for each field prior to registering. When you are finished, select the “Register” button at the bottom of the page. You will instantly receive a verification code via text to the phone number you provided. The code must be entered before proceeding in the app.

Q:  How do I view and edit my user account information?

A:  To access your account information, select the user icon image located in the upper left-hand corner of every page within the app. To edit your information, simply select the pencil icon image located in the upper right-hand portion of the page. After making the desired edits to your information, select the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.


Location

Q:  Why is there more than one location listed?

A:  Since some of our clients own more than one bowling center, we house their multiple locations within the app. After you successfully register and key in your verification code, you’ll establish your location:

  • If you are bowling at a single-center operation, you will automatically be associated with that location.
  • If you are bowling at a multi-center operation, you will be presented with a list of all locations. You will need to select the center at which you are currently bowling. It will then ask whether you want to set the selected location as your default location. Designating a default location will associate you with the center each time you access the app.

Q:  How do I change my location?

A:  To access the list of locations and/or change your default location:

  • Select the “Location” tab.
  • Select the link to “View More Centers” (located under the name of your default center).
  • You will be presented with a list of centers, from there you can view and select a new default center.

Q:  How do I view contact information and business hours for my center?

A:  Access the “Location” page to view the address, website, contact information, and business hours for your center. We enjoy making life simpler, which is why you can email, call, retrieve a map and directions, and visit your center’s website by selecting the link associated with each item.


Notifications

Q:  What is the purpose of receiving notifications?

A:  Your center will use your phone number and/or email address to inform you of special offers, discounts, and exciting events that you will not want to miss!

Q:  Where can I access my notifications?

A:  The push and text notifications you have received will be neatly housed within your app. You can access them by selecting the encircled ellipsis icon in the upper right-hand corner of any page within the app.

You can delete a notification from the list by swiping left to unveil and select the blue “Delete” option.

Q:  How do I turn on/off push notifications?

A:  After selecting your default center, you will be asked if you want to allow push notifications. To change your preference, you will need to go to your phone settings, select the app, and disable/enable under the notifications sections.

Q:  How do I turn on/off SMS notifications?

A:  You can opt-out of receiving SMS notifications through the edit profile page (explained in question #2). The last item on the page asks, “SMS Notifications?”, and can be turned on and off at your discretion (green for on, grey for off). After updating your preferences, select “Save.”

Q:  How do I unsubscribe from email notifications?

A:  You can opt-out of receiving email communication just as you do for any other sender. This is all done via your email account by selecting the “Unsubscribe” option available in the email.


Loyalty and Rewards

Q:  What is the purpose of loyalty and rewards?

A:  Your center wants to thank you for being a valued customer by giving you special offers, promotions, and incentives for bowling with them.

Q:  How do I access my loyalty and rewards?

A:  We offer our center partners the flexibility to choose between a punch card or points-based loyalty and rewards program.

If your center offers a punch card loyalty and rewards program (example: Bowl 9 get the 10th free), you’ll see a graphic displaying how many points you have accrued thus far on your “Home” screen.

You can also select the “Rewards” icon to:

  • view your rewards (same as described above)
  • view all redeemable coupons at your center

If your center offers a points-based loyalty and rewards program (example: Purchase 1 game of bowling and earn 100 points), you will see a link to “Go To Your Rewards” on your “Home” screen.

You can also select the “Rewards” icon to:

  • view your points (shown in the “Your Points:” line at the top of each page within “Rewards”)
  • view earning actions (action description and number of points you will earn for completing action)
  • view redeemable items (redemption item and number of points that will be deducted from your point bank upon redemption)
  • view all redeemable coupons at your center

Q:  How do I redeem my rewards and/or coupons?

A:  For punch card rewards:

An agent at your center will need to scan the QR code on your phone to redeem your rewards and/or coupons. Your punch card rewards are located and redeemed on the “Rewards” page under the “REWARDS” tab. Your coupons are located and redeemed on the “Rewards” page under the “COUPONS” tab. Select the coupon you want to redeem to reveal the scannable QR code.

For points-based rewards:

An agent at your center will need to scan the QR code on your phone to redeem your reward points and/or coupons. You can view the list of items available for redemption on the “Rewards” page under the “REDEEM POINTS” tab. Select the coupon you want to redeem to reveal the scannable QR code. Your coupons are located and redeemed on the “Rewards” page under the “COUPONS” tab. Select the coupon you want to redeem to reveal the scannable QR code.

A:  We use this as a place to house publications and/or websites that we know bowlers love. Select the bowling ball icon to view, access, and engage.

A:  Bowling Music Network offers the myJAM experience to liven up your bowling experience. If your center is a subscriber to Bowling Music Network, you will be able to sign in to make song requests and interact with your center’s playlist.
